Epilogue

Letter One

September 18, 1994,

Buck and Paul left us 2 days ago. I'm not sure what happened but I know that they died an honorable death to save us. Buck said something about us knowing how killing us to hurt them would affect our futures. I of course have no idea what he meant but I'm sure that I'll find out in due time. There's this young woman at school whom I am very fond of. She lives down the street from me. We've been good friends since I moved to this neighborhood about 4 years ago. Her name is Journie Silva. I really want to get closer with her but I'm not sure If she want's the same.

Beat of hopes,
Erik Cursen

Letter Two

March 4, 1995

Journie and I went out last night to Pargo's and went to the movies. We've been seeing each other since August. It wasn't long after Buck and Paul died. J.J. and I still think of them every now and then. Speaking of J.J., he's seeing a girl right now named Jami Hobson. Their relationship is going well. Journie and I are also having a good relationship too. We are considering going steady. You never know what might happen.

Later dude,
Erik Cursen.

Letter Three

July 23 2002,

Love is in the air. Journie and I are making plans for our wedding next month. We plan to have it on the same day as when we started dating. It's going to be great. I'm going to marry the most beautiful woman in the world. Boy am I lucky. J.J.'s pretty lucky too. He's been going with Jami for a long time to. They had a son last year. They named him after J.J., J. James Boltono II. They just got married this year too. Two weddings in one year. Whoa! How exciting can you get.

Adios amigo,
Erik Cursen

Letter Four

February 6, 2004,

Today Journie and I had our first child. He was a boy. We've decided to name him Richard David Cursen. We hope to have more children later. Journie wants a little girl. Personally I'd be happy with whatever the hell we get. I don't care if we get more or not I'm happy with or without children. I still consider myself the luckiest man alive. I must leave now to go change the kids diapers. I can't believe someone hasn't come up with a better way to deal with babies diapers.

Luckily,
Erik Cursen

Letter Five

March 17, 2014,

I've just embarked on the second most exciting moment in my life. I have found away to travel through the fourth dimension. That's right. I've figured out a way to time travel! I've recorded detailed notes onto Laserdisk for future use. I am working on a vehicle to travel in. It seems that my son Richard has also acquired a taste in science. Even at the age of 10 he has won first prize several times at his school's science fair. I couldn't be happier for him. I hope that someday he will follow in my footsteps advancing beyond my work and achieving success. I can only hope that someday he will ,be as fascinated and excited as I am.

Ecstatically,
Erik Cursen
