Chapter Three
We
landed on a secluded beach ten miles north-west of San Simeon,
California ready to kick some mad chemist butt. We looked around but
didn't see any kind of structures that looked like any kind of
laboratory. Paul turned on the infrared monitor and scanned the beach
for any underground buildings. We struck gold.
"Lets
kick ass!" screamed J.J.
We
blasted our way into his lab. Boy was he surprised, but not
unprepared. He sent out two prototype war droids to get us. We jumped
out of the jet and started fighting them off.
"Buck,
look out behind you!" warned Paul.
I
turned around just in time to blow the droids fat ugly head off. In no
time we kicked their butt good. Then we went after White.
"You,
Mister Harold White, have the right to remain screwed!" I
exclaimed.
"It
wasn't my idea! I had nothing to do with it!" he pleaded.
"Shut-up
or we'll pull out your chest hairs with a pair of rusty
tweezers." said J.J.
We
loaded him up and dropped him off at the local jail. We knew that they
probably wouldn't keep him long but after destroying his lab and
charging against him with assault they would keep him in there long
enough that he couldn't cause the nuclear war in our time. We returned
to Hecerrisonburg to drop off Erik and J.J. and say good-bye.
"Thanks
for helping us out guys." I said.
"No
problem man. At least now we can feel good knowing that our future
doesn't turn out real crappy." said Erik.
"No
kiddin' dude. I makes me feel all warm and squishy inside. Either that
or I need to use the John." said J.J.
"We
had better get back and see how things turned out." said Paul.
"Yea
man. we'll see ya in the future." I said.
We
got into the time machine and charged up the time circuits.
"Ready
dude?" I asked.
"Ready
as I'll ever be." answered Paul.
We
accelerated to top speed and vanished in a flash of lightning. Our
destination, home.
