Chapter Five
We
arrived at April 9, 2173 6:43 P.M. There was mass chaos everywhere. We
set down at the sight where Sabrina sent her transmission. There were
some vagrants wandering around the area. We decided to ask them if
they had seen anything. One old man said that they had taken her away
to the citadel. It was a big building in what seemed to be the center
of the city. We sealed up the time jet and started on our way towards
the building. Once there we looked around for an entrance to use. We
found a ventilation shaft that emptied outside. We climbed inside and
started on our way. We came to an opening in a big long hallway. We
climbed down and looked around. We weren't to sure where to start
looking. We started down the hallway looking left and right for any
kind of sign that might give us a clue. We came to an intersection. We
found ourselves looking down yet an other great hallway. We decided to
advance down this one and see where it led to. Strangely enough we
hadn't seen any one around. We knew that they had to know that we were
there or else we would have seen someone.
We
came to a big door. We weren't sure what we might find behind it. We
opened it and surprisingly enough there was the detention area. We
went inside and looked for the cell that was holding Sabrina. We found
it. We also found that they were interrogating her too. We hurried
down the corridor leading to her cell. We busted down the door holding
her in. We ran right into the enemy. We ran right into the head cheese
himself.
"Welcome
Gentlemen. We've been expecting you. My name is Draxlor. Unfortunately
you're too late. Ha Ha Ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
he said.
He
stepped away and lying there in a heap was the tortured, dead body of
Sabrina. My mind filled with rage.
"You
bastard! You killed her! You killed her!" I screamed.
"Yes
and now I must be leaving you. my work is yet to be finished in an
other time. And if you wish to follow you can find me in the year
1994. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" he
cackled.
I
lunged after him but he wasn't there. He had vanished in a flash of
lightning.
"I
don't believe it. He has the ability to time travel without a time
machine. He can literally walk through the fabrics of time whenever he
sees fit to do so." said Paul.
I
kneeled down beside the dead body of Sabrina. A rage unlike anything
I've felt before entered my mind. Tears flew from my eyes.
"He
killed her that bastard, he killed her. I loved her Paul." I
said.
"I
know bro. She was like a sister to me." he said.
"It's
not the same man. I really loved her, and I never got to tell her. Now
he's messin' with the wrong guy. Let's go after him. I want to hang
his head on my wall as a trophy. Where did he say he was going?"
I asked.
"He
said he was going to 1994. Wait a minute. You don't think he'd try to
kill Erik and J.J. do you?" asked Paul.
I
pointed at Sabrina, "Here's your answer. After what he did to
her, anything's possible. I swear he'll pay for this. Let's get to
1994 before it's to late." I said.
"I'm
two steps behind you dude." Paul said.
We
got to the time jet and set a destination time for August 15, 1994
1:42 P.M. We were ready to kick this dude's butt so bad he'd be
transported to the end of time. He would pay dearly for the death of
Charles and Sabrina. Now we're not taking any shit. It was time to
declare war. The enemy, Draxlor.
"Let's
kick some butt!" I said as we accelerated to top speed and
vanished in a flash of lightning.
